How soon should you see a chiropractor after an accident?
It is recommended that you visit a chiropractor within 72 hrs or as soon as possible after any type of accident. X-rays will be taken on site if necessary.
Ideally, try to schedule an appointment within three days of the mishap to treat the injuries promptly.
Is chiropractor good after whiplash?
Soon after whiplash occurs—in the acute phase—the chiropractor will work on reducing neck inflammation using various therapy modalities (eg, ultrasound). He or she may also use gentle stretching and manual therapy techniques (eg, muscle energy therapy, a type of stretching).
